Best Wonderland Footballing Tips.

Since almost all Fantasy Football leagues (FFL) are done on the internet, this informative article is targeted towards the different websites that provide FFL. We shall split this article into different sections, so if you're a Rookie, or a Seasoned Vet, you are able to go straight to the parts you need the most.

Rookies

1) Join a Private or Public League - A Private league is a group usually set up by a Seasoned Vet and they distribute invitations to people they want in the league. A Public league is ready to accept one to join. You can find these on Yahoo, ESPN, CBSSports and about a million other sites.

2) Is this a Head-to-Head or Total Points league? - Check out Head means that you play against another team in your league weekly and who ever has probably the most points for that matchup wins. You will likely then have playoffs and even a Championship Game. A Total Points league simply calculates the total amount of points all of your players accumulate through the season and the team who has probably the most points by the end of the summer season wins the league championship. (Head to head will be a lot more fun. You get to talk some serious trash each week.)

3) Look at the scoring rules - This is essential, because the scoring in your league can be extremely different then your next. One league might have a Passing TD as 6 points, while another only 4. Some leagues award 1 point for every reception a WR/ RB & TE make, while others only enable yards and TDs fantasy football trophies .

4) Pre-Rank your players - Each league will have a draft before the summer season begins. Once you've looked through the scoring rules and determined what players and positions will be the most valuable in you league, you will have to Pre-Rank your players prior to the draft starts, preferably a few weeks before time. Most websites actually Pre-rank them for you and will allow you to change the list to your own personal settings.

5) Draft Time - After all you work and research, it's time to get some guys on your own team. When you have Pre-Ranked your players correctly, must have mostly QBs & RBs in the very first few rounds, then accompanied by RBs, TEs, Defense/ Special Teams and finally, Kickers. Be sure to take a look at if a player has been injured throughout the pre-season, is in an agreement dispute, or is suspended. Players who is only going to miss a fortnight will soon be fine, but don't waste a draft pick on a guy who was simply injured in a pre-season game, and will miss the whole year.
